'A God Given Light'

The WhiteHouse presents as part of the Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art 2010:

'A God given Light' (a God given Right)

Site specific work based on the theme of light created by artists
Mark Campbell & Craig Peacock.

Burrell House
8 Great Western Terrace
Glasgow
G12 0

Mark Campbell uses a stained glass structure and text connected with modern religious ideoligies, but in a new and illuminating way.
Craig Peacock deals in the visceral perception of place, where personal emotive thought is contextualised through drawing and paint. His work seeks a sense of the spiritual, without a premise to any specific religion.

The exhibition is installed in Burrell House, the former shipping magnate and art collector William Burrell's family residence.

End of the Pentagon Gallery

The Pentagon Gallery as it was set up by Cathy Richmond and subsequently run by fellow artists will no longer exist in the Pentagon Centre.
Due to lack of support and a short sighted outlook on the part of the pentagon management we who run the exhibition space have been left with no other option than to withdraw our free services which were taken for granted and which in the end was a one sided affair.
We would like to thank the staff in the pentagon centre for all their help and support over the years and wish them all the best.
We would also ask that any artists that believe they may have work still in the possesion of the Pentagon Centre to get in touch with the pentagon administration by email or telephone and arrange to pick up their work.
